Biography

Kim works with Parkhill’s Water Resources Sector and received the Young Engineer of the Year Award from the El Paso Chapter of the Texas Society of Professional Engineers (TSPE) in 2020. She graduated from UTEP in 2012 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering. She heads up the Village of Vinton Water and Wastewater Improvement Project design and management. Since starting with Parkhill Kim has worked on getting Vinton adequate water and wastewater services. Through many challenges including losing all funding in 2012 and coordination with multiple funding agencies and key players, the Village of Vinton is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. Kim is presenting “If One Piece Fails it all Fails” explaining the challenges of the project and how coordination is key.
