Topic: Purpose and Function of the Irrigation District

Speaker Bio:

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in 1999, Jay joined TXDOT’s Bridge Division in Austin. After a few years at TXDOT and Matrix Design Group, in March 2009, Jay accepted a position with El Paso County Water Improvement District, the Irrigation District. Jay is the Assistant District Engineer and oversees construction of subdivisions, utilities, roadways and bridges on and across EPCWID’s real property. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer in Texas and New Mexico. Jay farms pecans, enjoys football, volleyball and playing golf.
