Speaker Bio:

Gilbert Trejo is the Chief Technical Officer for the El Paso Water Utilities where he is responsible for all functions within the technical services division including: engineering, planning and development, project management and construction management for water, wastewater, reclaimed water, and stormwater projects. With over 15 years of experience in the private and public sectors he has expertise in water and wastewater infrastructure planning and design. He earned a BS in Civil Engineering from the UTEP and a Master’s of Science in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from the UT Austin and he currently serves as the President for the WateReuse Association and serves on the Board of Directors for The Water Research Foundation.
