John Ho, P.E., has over 30 years of civil engineering experience in the private and public sectors.  As a Vice President with Huitt-Zollars, John’s responsibilities include business development and project management for public works clients in the DFW area.
John is a graduate of SMU and currently serves as the TSPE State President.  John is a frequent speaker at engineering schools in the area, presenting on the importance of licensure and internship.  In 2013 the Texas Engineering Foundation (TEF) honored John as a TEF Distinguished Engineer for his distinguished service in professional development of engineering.  He was also the recipient of the 2016 Texas Public Works Association’s (TPWA) Drahn Jones Award for Excellence in Education, for outstanding and meritorious achievement in delivery education opportunities to its members.
John and wife, Becky have three children and five grandchildren. Locally, he enjoys refereeing youth soccer games, and recently attended three Premier League “football” games in England.
