Topic: Professional Engineering Procurement Services (PEPS) Calendar and El Paso District Projects

Speaker Bios:

Jaime Perales is the Section Director for the PEPS El Paso Service Center. Jaime oversees and directs the procurement and contract management program for the El Paso District. His Service Center provides support to the El Paso District in the areas of procurement of professional engineering, surveying, and architectural services. Jaime has been with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for 16 years. Jaime holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.

Raul Ortega is the Project Development & Design Engineer for the East Section in the El Paso District. His section is responsible for development of the Schematic and PS&E projects for the east portion of the El Paso District. Raul has been with TxDOT for 14 years. Raul holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso.
